Trying to learn this on an acoustic guitar... I've snapped two different G strings and a B string.

Hey man. Epic stuff. Is it possible if you can make a tab and dub it over this video? Some of the stuff going on is crazy and I want to learn this song so bad. David Gilmour is the reason why I am playing the guitar. :) Thanks.

@95004965641991 hey thanks for the kind words, i remember when i first tried to learn this solo i couldn't follow any of the riffs because the transitions were pretty fast and just an odd sound. I decided to put this one down for about six months and when i came back I got through this really quick. being able to hear the notes and recreate little riffs by ear makes all the difference. best of luck to you mate. this is my favorite solo to play and i hope you'll love it as much.

@RofICopters eyy man thnx for the instructions and help and the support man! i will do the things u told me man, but i usually play with metronome and i learned how to play dogs dry solo, i mastered it in a day it was kinda easy for me, the problem is that i cant really tell which notes his holding down and its kinda hard for me to say which note it is, thats why, and i cant find any tabs which are as good tone as his playing, other versions didnt suit me, cheers my man :)

@95004965641991 no real offense, but if you cant keep up with this you need to look at some other lessons covering pentatonic riffs, and just learning some simple songs. When you've become more experienced you'll be able to hear what he's doing on the guitar without looking. with more songs under your belt you should be able to follow along at a good rate and pick up solo lessons like this in a day or two. (mastering them takes time of course) and always ALWAYS play with a metronome or drum beat

moving too fast and playing too fast and no tabs .... help here please ??
OK GUYS. you gotta understand that if he would teach this solo like Marty, telling us every string and fret, this lesson would last like an hour and a half. Marty is a great teacher for beginners, and guys who wanna learn stuff like Nirvana, or easier GnR solos should absolutely visit his channel, but Justin Sandercoe can teach you solos like this one. Nuff said.
