Poncy? I've always thought it was a name and never knew that it had a meaning to it.
Funny thing is, I have a Sims 2 character who is called King Poncie who is supposedly supposed to be a manly warrior....

@Celeblain Guys, Jackson explains that in one of the commentary tracks. They didn't have the energy to find "more gorgeous men" (The writher girls jokes that they ran out of them) to play Elronds sons, so they put an elven army in helms deep instead (to describe that new human/elves alliance) , and they had to make the battle feel like it mattered, so they had to sacrifice Haldir. To give the battle an inpact. They couldn't just kill extras. You guys just aren't nerdy enough!

@TheEmilySnape So you guys base your favorite character on who is acting and good-looks? I like Craig Parker too, I think he's very hot and I love him as Darken Rahl, I just thought it was weird that so many people chose such an insignificant character as their favorite when there are SO MANY other great actors and intresting characters too pick from in these books/movies.

BTW, I'm watching Craig in the tv show Legend of the Seeker and he plays the bad guy which is so odd, cause I'm like, but he's Haldir! Nice lovely elf...

I haven't been able to see Legend of the Seeker, the local station claims to carry it, but doesn't *pouts* I wonder how long it'll be before it's on dvd.....
