This video demonstrates a Peerless Tonemaster guitar through a Blackstar Artisan 15H with a Line 6 DL4 Delay pedal.

This guitar is a Gretsch 6120 copy in an orange finish. It features two humbucker pickups, a Bigsby vibrato, and gold hardware. Spruce top with maple back and sides, this guitar is very high quality for the price and has an authentic Gretsch sound for Rock n Roll, Jazz, country and alternative styles.

  • No the pickups on these and the Peavey Rockinghams are generic Korean humbuckers, not bad but not brill

  • am looking at purchasing either one of these or a gretsch electromatic g5120. how do peerless guitars compare to the electromatic range?

  • @modernmod89

Hello, thanks for looking, I would say that the Peerless have the edge, the build quality is superb and it has a genuine Bigsby, the Gretsch are good too and they have the right name on the headstock, the only way is to try them both really, if you are local to Birmingham you can pop in and try the Peerless, it comes with a deluxe hard case and is in as new condition. Unfortunately I don't stock Gretsch though. Martin

  • Does this have a floating bridge? If so can it be pinned down?

I'm thinking whether to buy this or an acoustic.....

  • @colotron

Hi there, yes it has a floating bridge, some people fix double-sided tape to the underside, however with 11-48 gauge strings on there is enough tension to keep it in place and it works fine.

  • I have one - the pickup's don't have the Gretsch 'twang'...

  • @Thelittleguitarshop

sorry, not local to birmingham, thanks for the advice though. have narrowed it down to either a tonemaster standard or a tonemaster custom. James.
