am looking at purchasing either one of these or a gretsch electromatic g5120. how do peerless guitars compare to the electromatic range?

Hello, thanks for looking, I would say that the Peerless have the edge, the build quality is superb and it has a genuine Bigsby, the Gretsch are good too and they have the right name on the headstock, the only way is to try them both really, if you are local to Birmingham you can pop in and try the Peerless, it comes with a deluxe hard case and is in as new condition. Unfortunately I don't stock Gretsch though. Martin

Does this have a floating bridge? If so can it be pinned down?
I'm thinking whether to buy this or an acoustic.....

Hi there, yes it has a floating bridge, some people fix double-sided tape to the underside, however with 11-48 gauge strings on there is enough tension to keep it in place and it works fine.
