Welcome to our Moose & Muley Combo Hunt we went on from October 29th to November 12th in British Columbia, Canada.
This hunt took place in Region 5 "The Caribou", on November 4th of 2010.
Michael was fortunate enough to take a beauty big "whopper" of a Mule Deer Buck. He has hunted more around 50 years to get one this nice and he was very happy to make good on his chance. The kule Muley has browtines that curver forward and shows a some mature characteristics...a real nice Buck.
Hope you enjoy what footage I did manage to capture of his great day.
I rough green scored this Buck in camp to be nearly 170 inches...but I was trying to be extremely over conservative...so he could easily go nearer to 180
Congratulations Mike, you earned that Deer and he is a beauty. Michael also took a real nice Velvet Muley in September...a pretty awesome year for him and myself!
I was fortunate enough to take my first species hattrick...a Nice regressive 2x2 Columbian Blacktail on October the 18th, then on November the 2nd I took my Beauty Big Muley Buck, and then I got a beauty Big Whitetail Buck on November 26th to wrap 2010 up pretty nicely!
Hope you all have great adventures and a happy 2011.

  • I wish I had held out for a real quad. Bought one of those Canadian tire bikes. It runs fantastic as long as something electrical isn't going caput. Ist it was regulator now something else blowing main fuse. Also rubber on CV joints is going after only 4 seasons. I also had to replace rubber over u joint but in fairness it was dragged over logs. Nice hunt & again thanks for dissapearing music trick. I may have some vids for this season. Just started videoing hunts. Tossdart

  • @Tossdart Hopefully you don't have to many more problems with your quad...I think you may be right that the more expensive ones are worth the money...but whats a person to do when they just can't afford to cough up that kind of cash eh! At least you got one and have got out there to enjoy what you have so far...better than missin out all together I say!

I will be looin forward to seeing some of your adventures...hope you have a fantastic year, good luck and thanks!

  • that muley is huge

  • Great Muley Michael!!

I'm lucky to shoot Muleys in Nebraska.

Kyle, LOVE YOUR VIDS!! Great work. Keep em coming!

  • @anavidhunter I set up a trail camera in foothills but my cutline got discovered by recreational mudders so set it off of quad trail, well despite quads a lot of game moved on trail & after 22 days I only got 3 pics of a wt buck I had it set on a moose bed but we may have spooked it out with family & dogs. Good news is some elk back moving. If I could have found a spot to not get it stolen could have had wolf, bear, elk, moose & deer at least. I am just getting started with cams.

  • @anavidhunter No problem! and thanks for replying to me means a lot :) To be specific were abouts around peachland? like headquaters? Because last year my dad almost got a nice 3x3 up there! Thanks again -Hogan

  • @Bullstodie thanks a lot...thats really kule and glad you enjoy the shows!

Hope you have lots of great adventures yourself. Good luck to you and yours

  • @OutdoorsmanByDesign I feel like I had already answered these comments on here...but maybe not...so here I go. Thanks Matt, that was a pretty awesome hunt and a beauty Buck for sure. I like how the brow tines curve forward...thats pretty wild and kule. I got the music on the net years ago...it is free use and I've heard many people use it over the years...its even been on real TV on the history channel I think??? I've heard it used on a couple of reality shows on TV.

Happy trails to you as well
