I think most people go through this from time to time. If you have ever felt like giving it up, mention it in the comments.

  • Here i have 2 put my bike up every winter from about november to march. so everytime riding season rolls around i am super stoked to break out the bikes. i couldn't imagin selling my bike. i totally envy u being able to ride year round. but hey, u know what they say: too much off a good thing...

its not a bad thing to take a break every once in a while.

  • Funny thing is, I had no idea how cold this winter would be. I had to sit out most of it so when I got back on the bike I was super stoked.

  • man i just bbought my first bike like 3 days ago. and when ever i ride it i feel so excited

  • Yeah I remember those days. Good times. But it actually is still like that for me.

  • i miss my cbr f3, never should have sold it.

  • A couple of times in my life I stepped back on how good of a car I had to be able to keep riding.

  • The summer here was hard work too. I don't have a light bike-jacket and I would strip-off after a even a short ride, stinking of sweat... I live up at about the 1,500ft mark and for the last 3 weeks it's been nothing but dense fog, rain and heavy leaf-fall. My Ducati is insured for the whole year, but I daren't go out in it in case I took a spill. Today... the season has finally flipped to dry-cold-sunny and I'm the only mother on two wheels :O)

    King of the road baby!

  • Look at it this way. I am from Michigan. I have to put the bike up in the winter. I imagine if I lived where you are I wouldnt have to put it away, but wouldnt be able to ride on days that were hot like that.

Again, in Michigan, you have to stop riding in the winter, so where you are, summer is the boon.

  • hey dont worry about it dude you should post it. youre a smart guy, im sure a lot of people are interested in hearing what you have to say.

  • I'm just 17 though so funds aren't there to have a bike and a car with insurance... I'd have to sell my bike to get a car and then get a better paying job to pay for the insurance

  • I'm glad you decided to keep your bike! Nothing like being on a bike :D, I haven't driven a car in months.
