  • No, If there is back flow after turning off your sprinkers, the injecter does not allow the water to flow through it. The holes in the injector is too small.

  • Do not waste money on EZ-Flo products. You can read about my experience with their product at GardenWeb - search for "ez-flo injector" and read the thread called "Do not buy." Apparently YouTube won't let me link to it.

    Short version: contra the video where he says that it will put out the "right concentration of fertilizer" - the EZ-Flo does no such thing. Most people won't know that because they won't test the output. I did. The system doesn't work at the rates advertised. Stay far far away.

    Yes. The manufacturer, EZflo, requires a backflow preventor. This could be any number of devices, the cheapest being a vacuum breaker.

  • Do you need a backflow preventor for when you attach the fertilizer system to the hose?
