This is not a negative comment in anyway, but I was wondering if you have to be a really good hockey player to play on the FDNY Hockey team? Because I played hockey all my life up until High School in Minnesota (state of hockey) and can skate good, but not like NHL good.
Also, do they still work everyday like normal FDNY Fireman?

Haha, real NYC Firemen work 2 days a week, so they have plenty of time to practice their hockey skills.
