This is Réseau de Transport de la Capitale (RTC) #9225, a 1992 MCI Classic Articulated bus (TC60102N), this is one of the only 16 articulated classic produce worldwide (14 are in Halifax, 2 in Quebec City) . In this video, the bus is on De l'Église and Quatre-Bourgeois street en route towards Marly station. This bus (and it's 9226 brother) are likely to be retired later in 2009 when new NovaBus artics comes in !

  • Should have sold this bus to Toronto where they need larger buses like these. Hey! Toronto already bought used buses from Montreal 12 years ago

  • @abc1236948 Yeah NYC would've been better off with these Classics Artics than their New Flyers D60HFs

  • Et dire que je le prenait souvent quand j'etait jeune!

  • WTF?????!!!

    UN CLASSIC ARTICULÉ???

    J'LE VEUX CRISSE :D

    J'veux rentrer dedansss! j'veux l'voir!

  • (continuation of my last paragraph) to Nova Bus in which they did not continue on with their Classic line and in 1997, Nova Bus discontinued the Classics for their defunct RTS line later sold to Millenium Transit Service and their heavily promoted and continuing into current production the Nova LFS.

  • @qwandiddy YES We do sure need those high capacity high floor articulated bus because the low floor articulated still does not carry too many passengers especially here in NYC. BTW New Flyer had discontinued building the D60HF Articulated since 2004. The MCI Classic Articulateds would have been a great fit for NYC demanding passenger loads and streets. Unfortunately though the MCI Classic Articulateds were discontinued shortly after RTC & Halifax received theirs and MCI selling their Classics.

  • Plutôt mignonne, la demoiselle assise à l'extrême gauche dans les premières minutes de la vidéo.

  • i AM A 6v92ta AND I APPROVE OF THIS VID!!!

  • So sad to tell ya that RTC (ex-STCUQ, ex-CTCUQ) Have never kept any buses for historical collection...

  • What a bus man!!! Just wonderful!!

  • Very best sound this engine bus !!!

  • @FamilyGuyFan2007 Why in hell would they wanna scrap good condition buses especially Classic Artics only came with nearly 15 of them then discontinued them back in 1993. Thanks man!!! Very sad!!

  • @qwandiddy Bad news, they are already scraped.

  • @qwandiddy I would not be surprise about it that Halifax should buy theses 2 Artics! :)

  • @Breeze646 Sorry but they still sitting in the back yard of RTC and they will be sold... Both are still in good condition! :) Halifax should buy them!

  • @CTCUQ I do have a feeling that those 2 buses may ended up at Halifax to be with the rest of their MCI/Nova Classic Artics fleet. Who else would buy them? I wish that they can send them to NYC lol.

  • The 9225 was the last that have been retired i beleive in oct 2009...

  • Both still sitting in the yard and they will not be scapped beacause they still in good condition to be sold... TTC? Why not... They still have some fishbowls that will be keeped for another 2-4 years...

  • Nope theses 2 MCI CLASSIC #9225 and #9226 are retired and belong to RTC (Québec) As far as i know both are still sitting in the yard and waiting to be sold... Maybe Halifax should by them :)

  • @FamilyGuyFan2007 Why, I hope they didn't scrap them, they should've send them to Toronto TTC, they need Artics badly.

  • @CTCUQ In Halifax?

  • They're already scapped, too late

  • I hate to break your heart, but both buses are now retired.

  • Both of these buses (9225 and 9226) have been retired from the RTC fleet.

  • Hey who told you they will keep them running until 2012??? Anyhow i bet they will have probs with the new ones... junky!!!!
