I recalled back in 1978 that my Mother created a small altar a week after my Father's death. I didn't understand it, and excuse it as part of the Catholic religion. It was later in the 80s that I learn more about the tradition behind the Altar. After my indoctrination into Hispanic Culture I became more interested in the Day Of The Death in New Orleans or All Saints Day as it was view in the Southeast region of Louisiana.

Since living in Texas for the last six years. I have photograph this event and have appreciated the cultural signification of "Dia De Los Muerto". This video is a combination of three years of photographing the event around the City of Austin. Most of the photos were taken at the Mexican American Cultural Center, and the Mexican American Museum.

As in the last Videos I have place my Music to support my Visual concept of Art, Music, and Photography. The three musical composition were done at the beginning of 2011. Since than I have been able to refine my music with each video that I create.

"Dancing With The Moon" was created in early 2011. It was base on photographs that were taken by my brother Rick Tauceda. The photos were of my niece Rachel's new born baby girl Isabella. It is title "Isabella: Dancing with the Moon". I was so inspire by the Black n White photographs that Rick had done. One day Bella will hear the Music and know that her Uncle created it for her on the day she was born and saw the light for the first time.

"Conversation with Piano" is a very long Piano piece that i had to shorten the composition just to fill in the time element for the duration of the Video.

"Rain Falling On Austin" was a composition that was created during the long drought of no rain in the city. The Rains never came and so I created this song in the hope that rain would fall and I would film the event and create a video and music for the film. Well Rain has finally started to fall and maybe I'll get the chance to do a video....JAT
