  • We would perceive it as a child would perceive advanced information in science. We simply wouldn't understand, but would seek answers, or possibly a simpler explanation.

  • Time, as the majority of humans see it, does not exist. Time is just a series of "nows." The only way our simple minds, which we only use 10% of in our lifetime, can understand them is to put these "nows" into a timeline. Think about it. Time and space are scientifically considered the same thing, called the space-time continuum. If you go to a place that something happened in a "past now," like the place where Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon, that is also the same time.

  • ahh i never though of that

  • me intraduse you to the grandfather paradox

The paradox is this: suppose a man traveled back in time and killed his biological grandfather before the latter met the traveler's grandmother. As a result, one of the traveler's parents (and by extension,

  • the traveller himself) would never have been conceived. This would imply that he could not have travelled back in time after all, which in turn implies the grandfather would still be alive, and the traveller would have been conceived, allowing him to travel back in time and kill his grandfather. Thus each possibility seems to imply its own negation, a type of logical paradox.

  • if time travel will be possible one day - where are all the time travelers?

dose that mean time travel will never be possible?

well.. there is the possibility of building a time machine that opens a "time portal". from that point in time forward it will be possible to travel through time. once the machine is activated, travelers from the future start arriving with messages from the future.

  • If one can go to the past then one can not change the past because any changes in the past will be known before the time traveler attempts to change the past. So in short the future can not be changed even if you are in the past.

  • here is the problem with sending back a message like that if the message you send prevents you from sending the message then you never got the message. its the grandfather paradox ie: "if i go back in time and kill my grandfather then i was never born so my grandfather never died." the other theory is if you go back and hump grandma and she gets pregnant but the time line never changes then you were supposed to go back in time and ride grandma.

  • also reading the message of hey me, if you get this, im 10 minutes in the future, dont fall down the stairs this time could cause you to fall down the stairs and so solving nothing thats how time travel can happen because you can not effect anything. you have already done the thing that leads to it happening for example you go back in time and shoot Hitler he cant die no matter what or you could go to a parallel universe. all the fun paradoxes
