No nice way to say this. I'm an avid bowhunter, but the bird this kid shot is an Eastern Phoebe and is protected by the International Migratory Bird Treaty Act. It is federally protected. If we want to keep bowhunting around and favorable in the public eye, we can't go around celebrating an act of poaching. Yes, others have shot birds with BB Guns, etc, but they felt remorseful (hopefully), had a moment of discovery, and didn't post the results on YouTube. A new era?

It's a nice shot. Show the 98 times he missed and the bird (yo cousin killed illegally) didn't move. The bird knew he only had 100 arrows and it was pretty damn likely he would miss on those last two.

@Rennpanzer I don't see how it makes him a coward. I think it makes him a good marksman. And he's a kid. You telling me you NEVER did anything like this as a kid? Pour salt on a slug?
