June 2, 2009 GRF Meeting - The Shut Up Rule in Effect
Everything and everybody was out of order in Laguna Woods Village during the June 2, 2009 Golden Rain Foundation Meeting, supporting our previous conclusion that "after precedent setting decision, local governance: Common Interest Development (CID)/ Homeowners Association (HOA) board of directors still doe not get it
Certainly the Seal Beach Leisure World GRF does not get it. The Laguna Woods GRF does not get it. The Laguna Woods United Mutual does not get it.In the Seal Beach GRF case, Mr. David Lyon battled a fiscal transparency case, prevailing every time, and after a long battle on August 27, 2008, the California Court of Appeals sided with Mr. Lyon ordering the Leisure Worlds Golden Rain Foundation ("GRF") board of directors to transparency in its operations and record keeping.

HOA's are unconstitutional and should be outlawed. The American people have certain inalienable rights. INALIENABLE. This means that there is no mechanism by which a person can be separated from them, not even voluntarily. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are only three examples of those rights. HOA's intrude on peoples' liberty and pursuit of happiness as standard practice. This makes them unconstitutional. Yes, I know this is from the Declaration, doesn't really matter, does it?
