why does everyone keep saying Shania Twain walked away from the spotlight in "2002"??? Uh no! Shania's last album was released and she went on a tour in 03-04- released her Greatest Hits album, and some singles. -

Shania has been out of the spotlight since late 2005.

She is such a beautiful person she has been through such hardships so sad her mother didn't live to see her little girl finally succeed with her music. I am reading her book and cannot put it down .

What an interesting, fascinating and incredibly touching interview with Shania. Many specific details I didn't know about her upbringing. I love this woman and her courage. I also feel that Oprah really related to the things that Shania revealed. I always felt that Shania, at times, seemed 'cold" in her relating to other people and now I know WHY!

Life is tough and if you have a particular difficulty and it becomes circumspect it can seem as if God has played a cruel trick on you, but I feel you can only play with the cards that you have been dealt and our situation is tough but you keep hope alive somehow and one good way is to be kind to all

my barber said to me recently (he s 65) that now he 's older, he 'knows too much' to be happy anymore. I am 50 but I knew instantly what he meant. You do the best you can in this life, but at the end of the day, it is truly hard and harrowing and generally a truly horrible world, full of pain, betrayal, disappointment and trauma. especially if you actullay care about anything. I sometimes think the scale and bradth of suffering is overwhelming even for stars like the lovely Shania.
