can this been done on double pointed needles? Because i was thinking of making a double sided baby hat.Thank you God bless :)

@eagleeye3x7 Yes, you can double-knit in the round. When not increasing or decreasing, it's easier to kep track of your color changes since you're always looking at the same side. For decreases at the top of the hat, though, you'll need to be swapping stitch order so your k2tog is worked on 2 "RS" stitches and then p2tog for the 2 "WS" stitches. you can also slip all the WS stitches to a stitch holder and the work the RS stitches for the decrease section separately from the WS stitches.

can this be done with basket weave crochet stitch,i am very interested to give it a try and see what happens.

@DomiNellies I've never tried this technique with crochet. The fbric would be very dense.
