@irock707 You must be very proud of your mother. She is a very talented lady.

@irvinetustin Just heard her song "Baby Love" on a rebroadcast of "American Top 40" from 1986 and immediately thought of this commercial - although I remember seeing a shorter version without the intro verse when I was a kid. Regina helped make a message that might otherwise have seemed too preachy into something special with her talents.
Oh, and being "very '80s" is not necessarily bad. Some of us love cheese. :)

McGruff can play that keyboard.

@irock707 Listen here. Im 17 and love your mothers music and like this anti drugs campaign but when you start to judge people who dont go to church then thats not very christian of you. Think about that. Im an atheist and i dont take drugs or anything and i treat people with respect which i think everyone should try to do so dont judge someone just because they dont go to church or live exactly like you.

they should have gotten tony danza to sing the song. that boy was THE BOSS!!!!!!!! oh and he fucked angela
-
@Moontheblueneko she also wore those pants when lip-synching "beat of love"
-
Man, I haven't seen this commercial since the 1980's, and I could still sing along without missing a word!
-
She has hammer pants.

OMG i tottaly forgot about the Mcgruff commericals that was targeted at kids that were 10000000000 times more effective than other PSAs that just used scare tactics and government propaganda
-
she actually retired because she wanted to, and got married and had children. she didn't want to famous anymore
Regina has the voice of an angel. I'd enjoy listening to this woman read the phone book.
