  • What I like about this movie is that that there not computer animation or animatronics. All secenes were with real horses and real riders.

  • and if some were just runaways, as opposed to second or third generation brumbies..

  • I'd imagine you'd be able to breed from some of them too. Even if they were too skittish (or old) to break.

  • @pinz2022 well, it also depends upon what their beliefs are and their knowledge about animals...My Mom owns a wild burro and Mustang that were rounded up by the BLM rescue group, and training them was hard at first...but we do it for the sake of bonding with them in friendship instead of bragging rights :)

    Plus, u don't waste a bullet on God's animals ;)

To answer ur question earlier, it al depends on the breed and how much gumption a horse has to live at an old age...it is very rare... :)

Amazing! That's just me not knowing the first thing about equines.

I still think though, that if such a herd of wild horses were that much of a nuisance in real life the ranchers and stockmen would have unsentimentally shot them rather than bothering trying to ride them down and capture them alive for bragging rights.

  • @pinz2022 u'd be suprised, I own an Arab that just turnned 30 this year and is still kicking!

And if the stallion was "Old Regret"s first foal and the (yearling?) colt her last, how old would that make Old Regret?

At around what age does a mare hit menopause (or whatever it's called for horse-critters)?

Methinks they take a little dramatic license there.

  • @horsesaremylife31899

Can a wild stallion still be formidable at age twenty?

  • @Shaezae

I've read that only a fool tries to break a bottle. In real life bottles don't break easily and when they do it's not the way you want them to.
