Goldfish juvi batch with parents feeding frenzy in 46G planted tank

title says all. feeding live tubifex for first time, after moving half of the goldfish juvi batch in parents tank. other half of the batch are still in nano tanks.

as soon as this juvi batch goes all colour I will be selling them to LFS guy.


This is the first time my camera caught proper coloring on the Goldfish Pair.

Plants are some crypts and some water lilies and LOTS of Giant/Jungle Val, I cut them in half , new shoots keep growing and spreading on top of tank.

well the tubifex can stay alive in that tank until something eats them anyway lol. they eat fish droppings...x_x

@robotron5000 humm , 1tbsp/5gallon salt in water? i wonder does that affect them.

Your goldfish look very healthy, well done on all their care :D

You're not afraid of feeding live tubifex i see haha, still it would be best if you saved some and bred your own worms. then you could guarantee they're disease free.

@robotron5000 heh, nicely remembered. The thing was , that time, that big popeye was playing with food and spitting all the tubifex when he got bored, which digged themselves in gravel, but this time, all this goldies didnt allow the tubifex to reach gravel, so i took the risk... again. :).

if 8 ppm ammonia and 8ppm nitrite wont kill the worms, i doubt that little salt will :P
