Here is the media for outdoor posters Tyvek® Banner Media. I would suspect that the problem with your dull blacks is the ink cartridge, Calumet offers two different black inks for your Z6100, HP 91 Matte Black Pigment Vivera Ink Cartridge CALUMET #HP4420 and HP 91 Photo Black Pigment Vivera Ink Cartridge CALUMET # HP4422, HP4422 will give you a vibrant black.

whats the best media to use to print outdoor banners/posters. and what about for photographs. I am using one right now. but the black does not come out as vibrant as the 5500 i have. the black on the z6100 comes out dull
