balloon release

Released from the TDA (Thomas Deacon Academy) for the opening of the school to celebrate a full year of the school. There is ment to be 2500 balloons in the net but we were not convinced!

Do the world a favor, and don't waste our money and time by having to clean up your balloon mess, or pick up the balloon-dead animals you are responsible for, and STOP releasing balloons. NO one wants to go out and clean up after anyone else, esp. environmental criminals. You should be fined $25.00 per balloon for your actions. I believe littering fines do apply to you and your balloon release is on film.

i have been a vegetarian for over 20 years, but what does it matter? That is irrelevant to the discussion of the problems caused by balloon releases, which the planners and releasers choose to completely ignore. Please consider the effects of your actions - on the environment, wildlife and those who are compelled to clean up after the careless humans who throw their unnatural, UGLY trash out - in the form of balloons for one - for others to pick up.

Searching for it to INFORM RELEASERS they're LITTERING - & KILLING WILDLIFE, creating a burden on non-profits, cleanup crews, & wildlife recovery groups who are paying to clean up YOUR BALLOON LITTER MESS. If you think balloons can't clog a turtle's stomach, or block the intestines of a whale, or wrap around seabirds & strangle them, look at the pictures. Google: "fourth crossing wildlife". Senseless, meaningless balloons-those small things-kill too.
