Give your child a competitive edge in the global economy by enrolling them in one of SCUSD's language immersion programs. In language immersion classrooms, students have the enriching experience of becoming bi-literate in English and another language -- Chinese, Hmong or Spanish. Four schools offer Spanish immersion or bilingual programs (Edward Kemble, Cesar Chavez, Ethel Phillips and Bowling Green Chacon campus); Elder Creek and William Land have Chinese immersion programs; and Susan B. Anthony will open in the fall with a new Hmong immersion program.
