Visual Studio 2010 is the most exciting release of Visual Studio in years. It has tons of new features but most interesting to MySQL developers is the fact that Microsoft has now opened up its DSP platform to outside developers.

Microsoft introduced the DSP platform with Visual Studio Team Edition for Database Professionals but it was limited to SQL Server. With VS 2010 we can use this platform to provide MySQL developers features such as offline design, development, and change management.

This session will show our DSP in action and answer any questions you might have about developing MySQL database applications with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.

Nope, Oracle didn't make this video. The video was made by a community member and is offered up for free. If Oracle made a video it would be professional quality and they'd probably charge for it.
