Τhe Byzantine Choir [{Panagia Faneromeni ] was borned in 1938 by the First Church Singer,musician, professor of music,composer excelent pupil of the famous ,composer IOANNI SAKELLARIDES, the late SOZOS TOMPOLIS of Lefkosia Cyprus.Under his direction , the Byzantine Choir took part in Church services at the greatest Church of Lefkosia THE PANAGIA FANEROMENI CHURCH singing regurarly from 1938-1985.. .From 1985-2000 This Choir continues to serve the same church but under the sweet singer direction the late CONSTANTINOS HADJINICOLAOU.From 2000 till to-day the Choir takes part in services at various Churches throughout Cyprus , after invitation, free of all expenses.Also the Choir takes part in Cermonies such as Mariages,Funerals, Baptisms e.c.t..The members are...TENORI....1.KYRIAKOS GREGORAS {Chorarhis] 2.JOHN FRANGESKIDES {assistant leader 3.PHILIPPOS MPAFAS [assistant leader] ..SECONDI 4.TASOS ALKIDES, 5.COSTAKIS PHILIPPIDES,. 6.IOHN KYPREOS,. 7.GEORGE PAPANASTASIOU, 8.ANDREAS IOANNIDES,.9.CHARIS PAPADOPOULLOS...
