Toledo - dirty properties - 945 berdan

Toledo has model block(neighborhood) program. This program is designed to revitalize a worn neighborhood, however there are too many neighborhoods to actually fix this problem citywide. There remains numerous properties that remain neglected.

This property at 945 berdan is owned by PANGLOSS HOLDINGS LLC 440 W Central Ave Toledo, OH 43615. The building hasnt had a legitimate business in a few years.

There is many problems with this property:
1) its an eyesore
2) it is a target of graffiti
3) it has worn paint, broken windows, and less than stable structure(which i had received a notice my house needed to be painted, when this property dosen't???)

When will the mayor actually address these issues?

  • @RetroToledo well its been used for something. i guess the owner has been cleaning out junk and getting some much needed tlc repairs done, so who knows maybe it will thrive again. Although i did see them taking a bunch of new junk into the nuilding and when asked what was gonna be there they said, it was just storage for a concrete business. so who knows?

  • I hope its still untouched. Grew up across St. May it stand forever.

  • Focus on keeping the camera work steady. Pans should be smooth. I felt seasick after watching the video.

I grew up with Babcock milk delivered to the door and left in a milk box with the Babcock logo on it.

  • It's a shame I don't remember this dairy at all, but sad it's not being used for anything nowadays.

  • tear it down but leave the chimney
