@andrewcairns11 You can thank Frank Zappa for songs like Highway To Hell didn't get censored and can still air on the radio today. And Frank Zappa didn't try to recreate anything. He was so far ahead of his time that we are still learning from his music today. And that is rock, country, electronica, jazz and whatever.

@ibanezbloke technically yes. she is both creative, classical trained, obviously insane (eccentric at the least), has a GIGANTIC audience, and respectable catalogue of music regardless of what music snobs think. i love black sabbath, but have NOTHING against lady gaga. a TRUE musician and an actual inspiration to people, unlike these x factor types.

There's room in the rock world for everybody to make a place for themselves. Where I come from we respect each other and feel that we are in a brotherhood. All helping to carry the Rock n Roll banner. All these bands have an audience which in the end adds up to the fact that if they really sucked...They wouldn't have an audience, wouldn't sell records and wouldn't sell out concert halls. :)
