UPDATE: DATA HAS ALL BEEN LOST - A Nightmare on Elm Street - Awakening (Sims 3) Voice Auditions

UPDATE: Data has been swept from my computer, including everything for this project. Everything has been erased. I hate to say it, but I think this will have to be canceled. I don't know what else there would be to do, and I'm afraid I felt like that this was not the most popular project. I thought the result would be pretty cool. Maybe it will spring up again in the future when I have more time, but for now I think it is over. :(

This really does suck.

Sam O'Donnell has been having a horrible reoccurring nightmare. Somebody is viciously trying to murder her. Her friends reveal they've been having similar dreams lately, too. Terrible murders are soon committed, leaving the police lost. But the kids of Elm Street know who the real culprit is. Will they be able to stop Fred Krueger before it's too late?

A Nightmare on Elm Street - Awakening

Now's your chance to star in an original A Nightmare on Elm Street Sims 3 film, based off of the popular A Nightmare on Elm Street series.

MAIN CHARACTERS
Sam O'Donnell
The main character. She is generally a kind person, and is a little quiet and shy sometimes. She's just trying to deal with all the horrible events suddenly turning up in her life.

Line 1: (surprised) No way! I had a dream like that too!
Line 2: (laughs) Please. Tara doesnt tell her parents anything. For all they know, shes just watching a movie while talking to me on the phone.
Line 3: Come on, guys. Stop fighting; its not going to help us at all. Lets just get to school

Tara Reeves
Sam's best friend and neighbor on Elm Street. She is a little bratty and doesn't always listen to her parents.

Line 1: (angrily) I dont know, Jamie! Just drop it! Im going to go look for Jake; Ill talk to you guys later.
Line 2: (innocently) What stuff? Its just us and a few other girls having a harmless slumber party.
Line 3: Yeah, but be quiet. My parents dont know Im inviting you guys over. Otherwise theyd kill me.

Chris Radford
Sam's boyfriend. He is trying to figure out a way to make it through the disaster on Elm Street.

Line 1: Oh, thats great. And why did he want to kill you?
Line 2: Well-well isnt there some other way? Doesnt your story say how to get rid of him?
Line 3: (friendly) How you doing, Sam?

Jake Thomas
Tara's jock boyfriend who is the only source of knowledge for the strange happenings on Elm Street.

Line 1: (surprised) You mean youve NEVER heard about Fred Krueger?
Line 2: We have to stay awake as long as we can. We cant let him get to us.
Line 3: (mumbling) Im not going to fall asleep Im not gonna let him get me too

Jamie Johnson
Jamie is Sam's friend and neighbor. Her dreams are really giving her a scare.

Line 1: I was having this weird nightmare. I was being chased by some crazy guy who was trying to kill me.
Line 2: Dont tell me you had a nightmare too?
Line 3: I think Im going to go lay down, I dont feel good.

MINOR CHARACTERS AND EXTRAS
Wendy O'Donnell
Sam's mother. She seems to be completely unaware of the strange dreams her daughter and her friends are having, though she still worries for Sam's safety.

Line 1: Samantha, wake up! Youre going to be late for school! Tara has been waiting outside!
Line 2: (angry) I knew I shouldnt have let you come to this party.
Line 3: Sam, did you get any sleep last night? You look awful.

Michael Reeves
Tara's strict father who is fed up with his daughter's behavior.

Line 1: What the HELL were you thinking, Tara? How could you have this party behind our backs?
Line 2: Tara? What're you doing out here?

Melanie Thomas
Jake's mother seems a little grumpy and annoyed with her son.

Line 1: (angrily) JACOB! TURN THAT DAMN RADIO DOWN!
Line 2: It's almost 2 o'clock, get to sleep!

Officer Peters #1
The kinder officer who is checking out the murder scene.

Line 1: What happened here?
Line 2: Thank you, maam. You two may go home, now.

Officer Williams #2
The grumpier police officer also checking out the crime.

Line 1: Do you think he did it?
Line 2: God, what's wrong with people?

Party Boy #1
He's just looking for the bathroom.

Line 1: Hello? Is anybody in there?
Line 2: (urgently) Somebody come quickly!

Party Boy #2
Is having a little too much fun.

Line 1: Yeah, it's occupiedo!
Line 2: Yeah, that's reeaal nice.

Party Girl
She's a little cranky.

Line 1: Yeah, it's upstairs.
Line 2: What do I look like, a maid?


THESE ARE ALL THE PARTS. You may audition for as many people as you want. If you don't want a lot of lines but want to still make an appearence, an EXTRA role is perfect for you. If you don't make any lead roles, you can still try out for the EXTRAS. Thanks for your help and auditions.
