Who needs a tripod? Look up the Targus Digital TG-MP6710, 67-Inch Camera/Camcorder Monopod. I took mine to the antique tractor show last weekend. Every camera person there wanted one. They cost only $15.00. I extended it last month to remove a nasty rattler from my path. Dual purpose. LOL
