and it's armaments sucks for today's war

now planes have to be adaptive to situations, so Sukhoi win

i heard they're gonna downgrade the F-22, dump the stealth to carry more weapons and com, and the F-35 is gonna be developed to replace the F-15 =.='

@Hecate1990 F-22 is, according to the Pentagon and multiple generals from around the world [including Australian], the most advanced and capable air superiority fighter in history.

The reason its production has ceased is because;

a. its a cold war relic, the cold war is over, a war with a superpower is unlikely, Russia for example, has an outdated airforce with many prototypes.

b. F-15 still do the job.

c. Our national debt.

d. F-22 budget was put in producing drones which we actually use.

@prjerry7 The US Federal government has forbidden the military buying any more F22s. They cost more than they are worth, proven in a training exercise between australian, japanese and other south china sea forces vs the chinese navy and air force. The chinese scored a ridiculous ratio of kills using older flanker designs. It just goes to show, if it ain't broke dont fix it. The F22 may be really good in these video games, but it has been beefed up by the designers.
