our 1st greenbox session with a couple Bob Druett didgeridoos, c#.
I`ve talked moren than 2 yrs to Bob Druett about it, before he made the perfect inside of the left didge. 2003 - To keep it unusual massive and earthy I`ve fixed the thickness of the wall outside. I had the combination with my Sitar master in mind and expected the didge firm as a rock. But still fly... It`s designed to focuse the open and clear sound on the point. (microphone)
Next, I had the opportunity to choose this fat old log on the right side :-) It looked ugly but for me it got just the best sound and a great feeling. Bob used my "first Didgeridoo ("baby") as a reference to make the fat one perfect for my style! ("mama-didge":-)
He made me an incredible didge for acoustic performance which spreads the sound around and gives the player a feedback like a soft bubblegum :-)
This instrument brings the drone to the front and let the soft drumsounds sink into deeper layers...
Can`t find better words to describe the spirit of these instruments as light & sweetness...
Thanks Bob, for this and much more!
very very nice!
happy new year 2012
