He acts like a magician. Lol

Gloves are not required, but used for two reasons:
1) It looks cool and we wanted to cite a little bit of "Monty Pyhtons - Man puts tape-recorder up his nose"
2) We wanted to show that our touch ovelay works with gloves, too. This is not the case with all touch technologies.
Regarding the "sound proof room":
This is actually our EMC chamber. We used this place for the cool technical look, and because it was the only spot large enough and tidied up enough to make the video :-)

No, Citron GmbH is a privately owend company.

Is this infrared technology disturbed by, let's say, infrared remote controllers?

@ninjaroger
Thank you for the question. Until now we did not find any IR emitter (including RC controls and bright sunlight) that disturbed our touch.

Why is it so horrendously slow? The dots are lagging behind the fingers like half a second.

@dannyoscarkip
Two reasons for lag:
1) The visualization application is programmed not very well (we are hardware engineers ;) )
2) This video was made with the very first prototype, meanwhile some time is passed and we are achieve update rates well above 50 Hz, so no lag any more :)
We also have a complete range of products available now, from 24" up to 65", including a Quad Full HD ( = 3840 x 2160 pixel) 56" resolution monitor.
