  • Painfully beautiful.

  • A friend of mine made a cassette tape for me and he called it "Mystery Blues" I played that tape so many times in all kinds of different machines and I asked everyone "who is this guy" for years I tried to find out who the mystery guy was behind the mystery blues. I was in a small cafe in Vancouver on Commercial street when all of a sudden one of the songs from my tape was playing on the stereo of the cafe. The waitress told me that it was Greg Brown. I saw him "live"the next week in Edmonton

  • Thanks Greg.

  • Greg Brown is one of the finest songwriters, a great artist and "Our Little Town" is among his finest songs

  • best song ever written about the farming crisis and the demise of the American small town.

  • Damn. I think I found my new obsession.

  • Cool song

  • As an admirer of Tom Russell and John Prine i can't beleive i have never heard of Greg Brown until today. Great sings sung with such feeling ,Wonderful.

  • first time I got to see Greg Brown play was at the targhee bluegrass festival in wyoming/Idaho early 2000's . this guy is the best .

  • Great song. Another example of this so-called progress of man. Up there with Johnny Cash' song "Cisco Cliftons Filling Station". Now we even lost 'Le Tomahawk' to the A77 south of Nevers, France. Damn it, this so-called progress of Man......

Love and peace and hope to all of you.
