Before Nolan, Before Burton, Before Adam West even, there was... Andy Warhol? A 2000 video projection/superimposition cutup experiment spraying Warhol images all over the walls. For Jack Smith - moldy but true. Set to a bit of vintage Sun Ra novelty entitled "Unmask the Batman"
and an insane Texas pop song from one of Larry Buchanan's 60s 16mm AIP remakes. Not for sale, release, or anything but blinking at. Go to that there museum and beg them for the real thing, hmm?

  • I don't reach to understand these images, but the soundtrack from Velvet Underground is brilliant, and there is a more than casual (i think) similitude with Adam West's series.

  • @carlosi104 Which is weird since it was made before the West series was broadcast.

  • what is the name of the 1st song? i need to get it :D

  • Dunno, its from Larry Buchanan's "Curse of the Swamp Creature" and it is a thing of great goofy beauty.

  • a video of people strung out on heroin....art?? pfft

  • Ah Andy Warhol, the man who forever blurred the line between art and crap.

1:11: "My god Selina, you've really let yourself go!"

  • @oancitizen I'm pretty sure the movie as a whole is lost, but most of the scenes survived.

  • I think I saw Dracula in there, but no Batman!....oh wait, andy warhol. Right. >_>

  • i love this movie! it is called Batman/Dracula, but is has not one trace of batman in it!

  • Where did you find the footage for Warhol's Batman? I can't seem to find any copies for purchase. Not even a torrent.

  • Is this the real Batman Dracula? Isn't this movie lost?

  • 0:41 Wow, did I find Dracula?
