"Epilogue"
[Guitar chords: G C D ]
Softly the night gale sings
Swinging low to leave.
Softly the night time brings
the cool evening breeze.
Softly the waves roll in
Washed against the sand.
Softly the lights grow dim
I'm back where I began.
And all I do,
And all I am,
All I knew as mortal man.
And all I say,
And all I try,
Will wash away with the tide.

Yes, "night gale" is artistic license as well as proper grammar. Look up what "nightingale" means when translated to English.
So seriously Daniel, when are you going to put a CD together?

Ahh...male vibrato. :) This reminds me of Sinatra or toned-down Lawrence Welk style...sweet and old-timey-sounding. I like your epilogue, provided it's not YOUR epilogue. You're still young! :)
