Temple Beth Abraham counters Women In Black

Bay Area Women In Black has been holding weekly anti-Israel rallies on Saturday (the Jewish Sabbath) at noon. The location they chose was a half block from Temple Beth Abraham, a Conservative synagogue in Oakland. When the Rabbi found out what was up, he marched down with half his congregation during services to make a stand. The Israel bashing of Women in Black is not tolerated in Oakland, and despite their claims to the contrary, the Israel bashers do not speak for the Jews of Oakland. Given the positive response TBA received, the Israel bashers do not speak for the non-Jews of Oakland either!

I wish that last sentence were true; there are anti-Zionists all over the place, and way too many of them here in the Bay Area (which is why we are out there doing this!)
