You said it would be out 2009, but it isn't , is it comming out after all? and how long is your progress you think?

Well, a release date for 2009 was set once, but that was several years ago, & the amount of work behind the ~1500 vfx shots was simply underestimated, also given that the VFX are done in our freetime - we're few, not a company; and humans: Despite my 600+ shot record by now I don't want to give up on sleeping...

Probably the biggest mistake was that a release date was "officially set" once;

"We're done when we're done", simply put, but now people complain because the release gets postponed...

Hey were those clouds in the middle of the video done in vue or were they camera mapped?

@h1a1l1l1o - Apart from the clouds far behind, which are part of a colour corrected panoramic image, the mid & foreground clouds are full volumetric renders done in 3ds Max using Afterburn, along with more colour & lighting effects done in After Effects;

However I had actually considered using either Vue or the Ozone plugin, nevertheless the Afterburn clouds came in handy alot better, simply for speed & efficiency... ;)

I actually think there are way more BSG ships in your shots than Star Wars ones

It's good that I compensate this in some ship-crowded sequences like in Coreign or Emperta ahahahaha ;-)
