One of the all time greatest movies ever made. It was such a universally engaging story because every person who saw it felt some connection to their own lives. By the end of the film even the Black people were rooting for the White guy.

People don't give Sylvester enough credit. they think he is just a muscle for brains nimrod but he is a genious. And he wrote this movie in 3 and a half days. WOW!!! He is such an inspiration to me. Greatest movie ever made.

Yeah, films from the 1970s had really long trailers. The Enter the Dragon (1973) trailer was so long, it practically told the whole story. Either way, both movies are in a class of their own.
