I think the graphics lag is not the ubuntu itself but in the vnc. If i vnc to my laptop (which is a gaming laptop), there is graphics lag in the transmission.

Is it capable of playing games such as minecraft (managed to get java ire installed on a phone running debian so that it can play .jar files) or running emulators (like for the n64)?

@deanschreiber12 thats a good one, haven't tried but i dont see why not, java isn't too CPU intensive, should work fine.

What about uninstalling? Do I just reboot the Transformer to shut down the Ubuntu from the background (or is there another way to do that?) and then delete the files?

if i see another VNC solution for full linux my brain will assplode. Didnt nvidia start a linux distribution for tegra? get that android off of that sweet transformer:)

By the way thank you for uploading that video, it really helped me out I really appreciate it. Just one question, after I installed ubunto I didn't get the same resolution as you did, the resolution was really bad and when I went to display to try to change the display settings I got the following error message "Could not get screen information RANDR extension is not preset", I have no idea how to fix this problem (I have a prime with build number 9.4.2.11) thank you

the ubuntu.zip file is downloading extremely slow and i think it is a serverside issue cause i have 12 mb connection but it is downloading at 100 kb and is estimating 5 hours. is there another place in which i could download from

@zedomax Will you have the native dual boot working yet? Will the gnome 3 interface work on a tablet (which requires graphics acceleration)?
