Seeing the whole movie is more likely to get people to buy it. I am planning on buying now that I have watched it for the first time in about 20 years. I wouldn't have before because I couldn't remember how good it was. The studios lose more money keeping it hidden than letting people know how good it is.

@questionsleadtotruth Dorothy was orginally supposed to be about 10 or 11 in the books, the judy garland version was the way it was because shirley temple was preoccupied. Altogether there are 40 Oz books the first 15 being by the original auhor. The movie is "said" to be closer to the books. Btw the movie is a mix of bk. 2 and 3.

Er, have you read the books ? Dorothy is supposed to be 11. And the characters as presented here are based on the original drawings in the L.Frank Baum books
