Fancy - Kelly Clarkson & Reba McEntire duet

Note: This video gets out of synch in the 2nd verse to the end so just be aware of that. I've tried fixing it twice. - sorry!

This is me drumming to Kelly Clarkson & Reba McEntire's "Fancy". This is such a cool song and ALOT of fun to play to so ... Enjoy!

I decided to come out of hiding & show myself playing to this song, as some people have asked how I play certain beats. Now you can see how it's done.

It may seem like I come into the song about a 1/2 or full beat behind however before settling down to play, I have to synchronize both my iPod & recorder. Once they're set up, then I can sit down & start playing, usually a couple of beats into the already started song.

Damn, I'm subscribing, Ive never seen someone up close drumming to that song b4, and you are freakin awesome!!!!!!!!! WOW! I had my mouth hanging halfway down the whole time saying how the hell can someone do that lol!! Don't you ever let go of that talent!!!! Thank you very much for your very inspiring comment. I had a TON of fun playing this song, since it was more on the "theatrical" side for me. Reba's got some great songs like that. Great drumming, but I'm just wondering. Was your ride sensor not working well? Sounded like it was cutting out a lot.

YES!!! So glad you noticed that. I always fight with my cymbals and this video definitely gave me alot of trouble. I was about to throw my cymbals out the window. The ride sensor was constantly cutting in and out as well as the snare drum cutting in and out. That is why I invested in the TD-6, for this reason alone. Great observation! :)
