Derek Carr Fresno State Bulldogs

Derek Carr will be attending Fresno State for the 2009 season. Great young QB with a lot of talent. Attended Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas last season. Has only lost 2 games in 2 years. Won 1 CHAMPIONSHIP with the Bakersfield Christian Eagles, was 2 games away from playing in the Texas State Championship his Junior year but lost to the Champions that year Katy, their only loss of the year. He has done a great job on the field and in the classroom, graduating/graduated early to attend Fresno State in January 2009. HARD WORKER, GREAT BROTHER, SON, FRIEND and TEAMMATE. Derek would like me to thank his family, friends of our family who came to watch him play, Coaches/Staff he has had this year and last year and also his teammates now and last year, "No way we could have accomplished what we accomplished this year as individuals, it was all TEAM!"
And to our late Grandfather Papa, David G. Joyner, You would have enjoyed this year very much, God had better plans for you, We did not go a game without thinking how much you would have enjoyed watching and attending Eagle, Giant and Driller games this year. We love you very much and think of you at all times.
Also to the Patrick Allen family we would like to again give our condolences.

BCHS was a Div. 5 school so he couldnt have been the California player of the year for Div. 3

Div.3 in State, Div.5 in section. He won Div.3 STATE player of the year. I am pretty smart I have my Masters. =)

Alright, I've seen Carr play and he's very good, but why did he choose to go to a Div. 5 school. His talent is way beyond Div.5. He's at least Div. 1 or 2. When he played my team, he picked us apart. It was like there was no defense on the field. I just think he should have went to a better school that had a higher division. So, yeah he's good, but should have showed his talent in a better school.

Last I looked you cant pick which High School you want to attend...... uhhhh he was going to play @ Stockdale but they hired a Wing-T coach, so the other choice was a private school.

pal, football teams from different teams are mixed up in the playoffs...so in the playoff and title game he competed for the div 3 title even tho his team played div 5 in reg season... obviously ur ass is very ignorant
