He had PHD in philosophy and was instrumental in writing the current constitution of Iran. An advocate of civil liberties, many articles of constitution regarding human civil liberties was written by this great man. He spent 10 years in Germany and was familiar with western philosophical thoughts and wanted to implement a regulated tax code in Iran to change the plight of his nation when got killed by a bomb blast. He was a man of high standards and a noble character.

Dr. Beheshti was a great man. He helped a lot of Iranian who had issue with the system then. Those who complained to him actually got response. He was very fluent in English, German, French, And Arabic in addition to farsi. He Wanted to create an income tax system similar to west to rebuilt Iran. He had lived in Germany and was familiar with the west and the needs of time while still being a God's Man. May Allah Rewards him for his Sincere efforts.
