I'm close to upgrading SG with 500k pots and caps, and a Bigsby trem. Also have some NOS tubes on the way for the Marshall. Cheers!

  • Thanks for the tip TheDouglasTwo, haven't tried that yet but it's on the "to do list" for sure! Alright, another Bigsby lover. I want the B5 as close to the bridge as possible to make the ctrl arm closer to grab and position more handle toward the neck pup. But I need to shim up the front of the trem about 3/8" in order to reduce the strings down angle after the bridge. Wish I knew the best material/design to do it, thinking either hardwood or aluminum. Solid tip, I know your right! ;)

  • I was hoping for comments about the fit and feel of the improve leads. The song has no solo, so I went by the vocal and melody. I'm a first year student guitarist, productive suggestions are welcome.

  • thats top line guitar

  • I Started Plating Guitar since 1987. (I Was born in 1985, Now, at Age 21), I've Recorded a Solo for a Song that was Featured in a Major Motion Picture, & As A Teacher of Many Guitar Lessons, I'd say, to Improve Soloing, you need to Learn Scales, Modes, & go for a song thats a more Guitar-Intensive All the Way Around. Now Instead of Suggesting like "Bat Country" by Avenged Sevenfold, I'm gonna say, Shoot for "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N Roses.

  • Sounding good for a first year player for sure. My advice is that when you bend, you gotta make sure you're making it all the way to that next note you're looking for. I used to just practice doing a semitone, tone, and then tone and a half in the same spot using a tuner to check if I was really hitting the "true" next note. That and go for the bigsby, I've got one on my les paul and my tele and love 'em!

  • Don't use backing tracks.

  • You are going to be a good guitar player, try to make a music of your own and post it, trust me is really helpfull to make you understand some things

  • you dont need to replace the pots and caps, Gibsons already come with 500K pots and you wont be able to hear a difference with new pots. A bigsby would be cool though

  • is that Tony Iommi hahaha,, not bad mate not bad

  • dont be a dick...thats a suggestion,he just wants to post a video...
