I am an older fan from the 1970's who grew up 10 minutes away from the Coliseum and has been attending Islander games since the late 1970's. That is over 30 years of unwavering support that has seen the highest highs and lowest lows that this franchise has to offer. Losing the Isles would be devastating, you can't invest as much time in something as I have, and not expect it to be utterly painful if that certain something is taken away.
I hope and pray they find a solution other than relocation

@clebo99 Me too. We have 4 years to worry about the Coliseum. I think they will somehow stay in Nassau, but worst case, they will be in Brooklyn, Queens, or maybe even Suffolk. I'm looking forward to this season. I'll be there opening night. I think after the summer this team has had, the fans will really be loud on the 8th. Here's to a good season!

This is very morbid. It was either put together by somebody who overreacted or is a Rangers fan pretending to be an Isles fan in order to get the Isles fans upset. We are far from done.....we will not be going anywhere other than the Garden to beat the Rangers on a daily basis!

@dtybur73 I am soooooooo excited about this year. Screw the arena. Let's just win and it will all work out. They aren't moving out of NY. Maybe Brooklyn or Queens, which I'm fine with!!!! But I do love how LOUD the NVMC can be. I've been there in December with only 12k and it can be unbelievable. Let's Go Islanders!!!
