This is a mandola short instrumental piece I wrote featuring mostly cross-picking and a little bit of something I'm just beginning to get more into: tremolo mixed with rhythm. On the latter, Ive been much inspired by Tim Allans awesome YouTube performance of Laras Theme (check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQK6BY3PAKc ). Overall my greatest inspiration has been my grandfather Luigi Andrini and his brothers of the infamous Andrini Brothers (See: http://www.harpguitars.net/players/taraffo/gazzo/gazzo.htm ), especially my uncle Lawrence Andrini on mandolin.
Nice playing, David!!!
It was a pleasure to meet you at the Aquus Cafe, yesterday!
IF I ever get around to posting what I videoed there you'll
probably see yourself when I "panned" to the left!
Cheers & Ciao,
Ralph (Marrcello).

Thanks Ralph
It was a pleasure meeting you too. I might be doing a slide show at Aqus Cafe, maybe I'll see you there. I'm also glad you've discovered Tin Allen too, that guy is incredible.
