It is technically more of a powerboat than a yaht but a J. Craft Torpedo that is shown starts around 1 million dollars.

Without the people that buy these things then the builders, manufacturers, sellers,captains and everyone else would be out of the job. The people that put the show together for this video would be out of the job as well. I would rather support someone that goes to an 8-5 day job and works hard than a homeless person.

Even if I had the money I wouldn't want to own a yaht. They are awesome to look at but so much work and money go into it. You have to have to pay a captain to drive it for you, a place to store it, fuel would be crazy, and winterizing those beasts would suck. I would rather occassionally rent one out if I had the money to do so.
