  • @memohavok what an intelligent rebuttal.

  • @paintdataint gay

  • WHAT? I GOT EDICATED IN USSR, education was excellent.

  • I hate reporters and politicians who throw about statistics! ARRR! Analyse it! Show us you're more than a pretty face!

  • Thank god communism is dead. This lady is retarded. Communism killed millions, tortured the lives of many more, and even put the human race in danger.

  • A klondike economy, plain and simple, although energy reserves afford it considerable power in a world of growing scarcity.

    Thanks for the links. Cheers

  • And the agricultural capacity is dwarfed too.

As for links, I will send you some.

  • That is even if you include theoldformer soviet reps.

I agree with you most of Putins erstwhile prosperity was on the basis of natural resource exports. Look now... after all the asset stripping of 'shock therapy'

  • Hi unnamed00, I agree with most of what you say. I'm not any great fan of Putin but his decapitation of what in our time was the nearest we have ever have to Libertarianism (incluindg a Nozickian original distriution of previously collective capital) was in gen good for Russia. Could be lots better though.

I would be greatful if you could forward me links to what you say about calorie consumpt et al.

Things I do know are about how actual industrial capacity now is dwarfed by the old USSR

  • Well, if this video is really from Gallup, they are using the word "communism" in the sense of "that system which isn't the American one", rather than the way the Soviets considered it.

I'm not saying the Soviet meaning of the word should be used, since it sounds pedantic and noone cares. But they should start calling it a "socialist state"/"socialism" like some other news agencies, since its a lot closer to what it actually was.
