Jay Z sits Down With WARREN BUFFET P5

The first Forbes 400 Summit was surreal, amazing and, in the end, moving. We gassed up a Gulfstream 450 one warm September morning and flew one of the most successful recording artists of all time, Jay-Z, to meet the most successful investor of all time, Warren Buffett, on the latter's home turf of Omaha, Neb. The intent was to capture their very different perspectives on success and wealth and to talk about the social obligations that come with each. They ended up finding out they had more in common than anyone would have expected between a 40-year-old rapper from the Brooklyn projects and the 80-year-old sage of compounded returns.

@jaq925 I disagree, but I see your point. Jay at this point in his life teaches more through ACTION whereas Buffet teaches more now with his WORDS at this point in his life/career. I know when Buffett was Jay Z's age he led and inspired more through his actions than words.

I wouldn't take this as a weak moment of Jay-z. I think he has just come from a trouble position in life and wanted to communicate that the most important point for him is to give other people the hope that they can make it out of poor positions and achieve everything they want to.

I think he just tried to look for the right words and it just meant a lot for him

Crazy how warren buffet covered for jay z at the end there. jay z is paid millions to do literally nothing but talk/rap, yet he couldnt spit out a few words on how he thinks he will be remembered and what kind of impression he will have left.. all in all that was an awesome video. both made a fortune doing what they do best
