It's September 15, 2011 and Continental Airlines Houston Hub is now re-branded into United Airlines. To my surprised it doesn't even look that bad and really, I doubt to many people will notice. It looks just like the old Continental. The Globes are all there and the United in Blue matches the Globe. It still looks like Continental to me. This is a change I can live with. I like how the signs also still say Continental Airlines.

  • Whoa! Tokyo, now that's gonna be an exhausting flight.

  • @nefty018 Yeah, but it is not as bad as doing Newark to Hong Kong. I flew that 2 times in 2 weeks.

  • @020808 is this Terminal E

  • @Josharazzi Yes this is terminal E. That gate was my flight to Tokyo.

  • @aaronrodgers77 US Airways is still having a lot of troubles after their merger with America West. They've dropped their service standards and are basically.. International Southwest. As for the Flight Attendants, give people a little time to adjust, I know a lot of UAL and CO flight attendants that are very excited to work together, as well as some who are wary, Just give the dust a chance to settle and you should like the results.

  • @crackaddict444 unfortunately i dont think tht will happen

  • @MyleneJ im a member of continental (now united) and i liked the airline better when it was just continental. the flight attendednts r now very rude. and u made a good point of this. what about us airways though?

  • Look, It's two airlines that were founded by the same guy, returning to their roots and joining forces when everyone else is a sinking ship. AA is in bankruptcy, Delta/Northwest isn't doing too well, Frontier's due to start laying off people at the first of the year, even Southwest is 140 million in the hole. UNITED and it's UA/CO subsidiaries are the only airlines making a decent profit anymore. Because it's employees can work together and keep up the GOOD traditions beyond a paint change.

  • I live right near Newark man. I've heard about flights going directly to Hong Kong from Newark. They can be really long and exhausting.

  • It's the same in Newark

  • the tulip will live on in our imagination

  • i miss the old united this new logo sucks bad
