In 2002, time stood still. A band named Sierra Juice Company rose from the bowels of suburban Massachusetts. A band so potent that women were thankful to have faced menopause before seeing them live. The band consisted of the impeccable songwriting and lady-slaying duo of Al Joseph and Craig Martinson and the members of Boston-born folk/rock/jazz band Grimis: Andy Doherty, Pete Michelinie and David Tanklefsky.
Nearly a decade after the Juice Company released its only full-length record, "Taste the Cherry Johnson," the members of Grimis, their Oregoon Squad touring crew, and their visionary leader John Durgee paid tribute to the greatest band that ever was by staging a bodega take over in Brooklyn, New York.
No animals were harmed in the making of this music video. Two of the three band members however, were left bleeding at the end of the shoot, due to broken peanut butter and jelly jars.
