El Padre Gomidas fue un cura armenio de principios de siglo pasado que en realidad fue mas músico que cura (en wikipedia hay informacion en ingles ) . Se encargó, entre otras cosas, de recopilar la musica folclórica armenia y escribirla para su perduración. Tuvo mucha relación con compositores importantes de su epoca. Termino volviendose loco a causa de las barbarie de la que fue testigo durante el Genocidio Armenio cometido por Turquía a partir de 1915.

hi! tnxs! I got this music sheet from a book called "Shirag Songbook" by Hannessian Bros. printed in Lebanon, there are more songs, not only from Gomidas. They are for piano of course and I adapted it for guitar.
