"I'm so sorry Lola. I- I don't even know what to say right now." He said. I just kissed him on the lips. "You don't have to say anything. Can we just go back to the others?" I asked. He nodded his head and grabbed my hand, carefully pulling me off the bed. We walked back into the living room and sat on the couch. He didn't put his arm around me like before. He just stared at the carpet. I laid my head on his shoulder but he didn't even budge. It was almost like I was a flower peddle, if he touched me I would break. After a few minutes he looked at me and smiled, but it wasn't his real smile. It didn't reach all the way to his eyes. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. I couldn't stop thinking about what he was thinking but I just blew it off. Over thinking stuff can only lead to bad things. We had just finished with the movie when Rachel's phone rang. We all froze, scared it was Bryan. Finally Rachel looked at the caller ID and sighed of relief when it wasn't him. "Hello?" she answered. We just stared at her while the other person talked. "I don't think that's a good idea." She said then paused. "Because of what happened! You really think she's gonna want to talk to you Austin?" I froze for the 500th time it seemed like tonight. Why was Austin calling? What is this, 'every-boyfriend-I've-ever-had-call-me' day? Rachel sighed. "I'll talk to her but I can't make you any promises. My guess is she's not gonna want to see you Austin. You really hurt her." She paused again. "Okay okay! Damn, I'll talk to her. Jeeze." She said then hung up. She then turned to me. "What is this? "Call-up-your-ex day?" I laughed a little. "I was just thinking that." The boys both looked at us waiting. "Austin was the guy I dated before Bryan." I said. "Why are all your ex's calling?" Ryan asked. "I don't know." I replied. "I'm scared my ex's are gonna start calling. That'll be scary." Justin said. We all laughed. (This is not a joke at Caitlin Beadles I absolutely love her and I have nothing against her.) "So what did Austin want?" I asked Rachel. "Basically said that his little sisters got tickets to the show and he got stuck taking them, then told me he didn't want to go until he found out you were opening. He said that he's been missing you and wants to talk to you then said that he broke up with Mallory for you and was wondering if he would be able to talk to you before or after the show." I rolled my eyes. "Hell no." I said. Rachel smiled "that's my girl!" I laughed. "Do I want to know what this guy did?" Justin asked. "He was going out with Lola during the accident and wasn't supportive at all. He would get mad at her for being in depression and everything." Rachel said. "Wow. Douche." Ryan said. We all nodded our heads and that was the end of that conversation. We decided that it was time to go to bed. I was excited that when we woke up we would be in Kansas City, but I was also scared. What if Bryan found a way to get to me? I didn't know what I would do. I laid down in bed trying to push the thoughts of him out of my head when my phone vibrated. I clicked read on the text message notification.
